Several years ago I decided along with my management team to completely computerize my dental practice. We elected to not only establish terminals in the business area but also in the treatment rooms as well. All told we had 8 stations; the eighth station serving as a server/work station. In addition we wanted to reduce the radiation exposure to our patients by enlisting the help of digital radiography (original suppliers of the hardware). Finally our software provider (separate from the digital radiography) upgraded their software from DOS to windows at the same time. WHAT A MESS!!!!!!!!!

We went through 2 1/2 years of freeze-ups, shutdowns and complete crashes, both computers and psychological. We had so many questions that our hardware company was unable to answer plus understand our predicament and our stress level and concern.

The final straw was one day I was attempting to complete an involved procedure on a difficult patient and the system froze again. I left the operatory and was approaching the office manager when I found a line to the front desk. The line was composed of several people attempting to pay their bill. One by one they closed their check books and left with the statement that once I get a system that was functional, they would return to pay their bill. Needless to say, I proceeded to find a solution to my disaster.

It just so happened, that Dave Szymanski was being seen in my office, and he was witness to the existing scene. He calmly (as is his nature) reminded me of his expertise and we agreed to meet the very next day to solve all my computer problems. In a matter of days, Dave and his staff had me functional and a firm plan for the final resolution in place. He and his staff quickly and efficiently put order to the chaotic mess that was thrust upon them and at a very reasonable cost.

Needless to say, I would highly recommend Szymanski Consulting to any and all companies that have one or fifty computers or are contemplating getting into computers.

We here at Pax Christi USA have found the staff and Techs at Symanski Consulting, Inc. to be very helpful and professional. The techs are more than willing to help with any projects that we may have going. Also they are very willing to explain what they are doing when working on our system and the "whys" behind it until I understand what is happening and the reasons for it. They listen to ideas and make recommendations to assist us in using our server and equipment to best serve our members. We have found them to be very accommodating when we have an equipment failure or power outage. They are here on site very quickly to help get us up and running again thus making our down time as short as possible.
